PickOnWay is built so that your data stays with you. We do not operate servers, we do not collect analytics, and we never sell data. This policy explains exactly what the app touches and why.
Your errands, saved stores, and activity history are stored only in the app's local database on your iPhone. They are never uploaded to us — we have no servers to upload them to. Deleting the app, or using Account > Delete Account & Data, permanently removes them.
PickOnWay uses your location to find stores near you and to remind you when you are close to a store where you have pending errands. Background ("Always") location powers those reminders via Apple's geofencing. Your location is processed on your device and by Apple's MapKit when you search for stores. We never receive, store, or transmit your location.
Voice input for adding errands uses Apple's Speech Recognition. Audio you record for an errand may be sent to Apple by iOS to convert it to text, as described in Apple's own privacy disclosures. We do not receive or keep recordings.
Signing in is optional. If you sign in with Apple, the app stores your Apple-provided user identifier and display name on your device only, to label your account inside the app. You can delete this at any time from the Account screen.
Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We do not see or store your payment details.
Store-approach and store-exit reminders are generated locally on your device. We do not send remote push notifications.
PickOnWay is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
